"We had always dreamed of making Tuscany our home, and the moment we set foot in Montepulciano, our hearts knew we belonged. Here, every hill, every stone, every sunset whispers beauty, we found not just the place where we would spend the rest of our days, but a land we felt called to share with others—a place whose beauty is meant to be experienced, savored, and loved" - Giorgio / Simon

This charming villa is the base while you visit with Tuscany My Way. The villa sits on the hillside boasting stunning views of the vineyards below and the hilltop city. From here, it’s a short walk to town of Montepulciano. This town, offers amazing views over the Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana valleys. The town is filled with elegant Renaissance palaces, beautiful churches, and charming piazzas.
The ancient streets are filled with unique shops selling handmade products, amazing restaurants serving local specialties, and wine tasting rooms to savor some of the most famous wines produced in Italy. Piazza Grande is the heart of Montepulciano and the setting for its main events, including the grand finish line for the competitive barrel-racing event through the city called the Bravio delle Botti contest held on the last Sunday of August since the 14th Century.
This amazing city is the best base for southern Tuscany with a stunning hilltop and central location. It stands high atop a hill in Southern Tuscany not far from Siena, Cortona, and Montepulciano. It sits on top of a 605-meter (1,985 ft) limestone ridge, 70 kilometers (43 mi) southeast of Siena, 124 kilometers (77 mi) southeast of Florence, and 186 kilometers (116 mi) north of Rome. Montepulciano is considered “The Pearl of the Renaissance”. It is the home of the Vino Nobile wines, and one of the most beautiful hilltop towns in Tuscany.
